At our Marblehead bed and breakfast an extensive breakfast buffet is included with all rooms along with afternoon tea, coffee and sweet treats. Our breakfast includes: fresh coffee, teas, juice, seasonal fruits, yogurts, homemade granola, bagels & toast. Our freshly baked sweet breads and hot dishes change daily but examples are: blueberry muffin cake, brown butter glazed pumpkin bread, belgium waffles, assorted quiches and hot breakfast casseroles. Our signature items of fresh smoked salmon platter and crème brûlée French Toast are weekend favorites. We also offer a Gluten-free menu.
Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 am to 9:30 am (8 – 10 am on Sundays) in the dining room. Trays are available for guests who wish to dine in their room. In the warmer months, many guests prefer to have breakfast at one of our garden tables overlooking the pool.
Please note that due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are not offering our buffet at this time. A full breakfast is still included with your room rate as personalized trays are made each morning of your stay (with a daily hot offering). Please call the front desk if you would like more details.
During the winter months, homemade treats such as cookies, brownies or cakes, are available each afternoon in the dining room. In the Summer, we accompany the afternoon treat with iced tea, lemonade or fruit-infused water. In addition, snacks, sodas and bottled water are available 8 am to 10 pm each day at the front desk. Ice is available 24 hours in the guest pantry off the dining room. Our intimate Tavern is open daily from 10 am.
Please note that due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are not currently offering our homemade treats.
Also available is our intimate and popular Tavern, serving fine wines, beers and cordials. We also offer a limited but high-quality menu highlighting local favorites such as New England Clam Chowder, crab cakes, shrimp cocktail, and burgers. If you feel like staying closer to home, or having a relaxing drink after an evening out, this is the way to go.
