Offers sophisticated bistro style dining and is the perfect restaurant for those celebrating something special (ie. birthday, anniversary). Staff favorites include: Chicken Liver Mousse, Mussels, Steak Frites and the Skate Wing. You really cannot go wrong at 5CK as all the food is divine! Insiders tip: they serve $1 oysters from 5-6 and its best to get there right at 5 since their bar can fill up quickly.
Maddies Sail Loft
The Sail Loft is a legendary Marblehead Bar and rightfully so! It opened shortly after WWII and has been operating as a traditional New England Seafood Pub ever since. They are famous for their (extra) strong cocktails, especially the “Thunderdome”. We warn you, only order 2 MAX. Great spot for casual fare at prices that are hard to beat.
The Barnacle Restaurant is the oldest family owned restaurant in town and started out as a small clam shack offering take-out. Since it’s opening in the 1940s, The Barnacle has grown in size and popularity and has been known all that time for its fresh lobster rolls & seafood chowder! They are located right on the water with beautiful views of the harbor and Marblehead Lighthouse. We have found its a favorite lunch spot for guests or dinner on Wednesdays for their twin lobster special!
The Landing is another waterfront dining destination with a wonderful deck to soak up the sun while enjoying a glass of wine. Their english style pub features entertainment on the weekends, making it a favorite spot for a late night drink on Friday & Saturday nights!
Casa Mia offers an intimate and relaxed dining experience for those looking to have Italian Cuisine. It’s a family run restaurant that features their very own family recipes from Southern Italy. You won’t be disappointed with any of their home made pastas or desserts.
Soall Bistro is a popular neighborhood restaurant serving modern and crave-worthy Vietnamese cuisine. They are very popular for takeout but recently expanded to create a cozy and charming dining area for guests to enjoy their chicken pho or salmon claypot with a glass of wine. Truly a gem to have in our historical town.
